Our adoption process is friendly, supportive and thorough. We want every match to last a lifetime — for you and for your new cat.
Before you apply:
• Adopters must be 21 or older
• We reply to applications within 3 business days
• Watch your inbox (and spam folder) for our email
Adopting a kitten? Kittens under a year old do best with a playmate, so we usually place young kittens in pairs or with a playful young cat already in your home.

Meet & Greet
Adoption Day
Tell us about your home, your family and the kind of cat you’re hoping to meet.
We’ll check in with your vet to confirm your pets’ care. New to pets? Just let us know.
Once you’re approved, meet the cat (or cats!) you’re interested in and ask all your questions.
Sign your contract, pay the $80 adoption fee and take your new cat home. Bring a secure carrier!

Want to meet a cat in person? Our adoptable cats are also living at two Terre Haute retail partners, where you can visit them and adopt directly on site.
